The Essence

 

In shadows cast by sorrow, reflections gently sway,
A humble man departed, in prayers we now stay.
His life was shrouded in service, a lesson most profound,
With every whispered memory, his spirit still surrounds.

Not lured by worldly titles or the glint of fleeting fame,
He walked a path of kindness, his faith lit like a flame.
In every act of mercy, in wisdom shared with grace,
He nurtured seeds of knowledge, in his family’s embrace.

With laughter shared in gatherings, and quiet, tender care,
He taught us all to cherish, to be present, to be fair.
Though heartstrings pull and ache, his essence won't depart,
For love and faith he gifted still live within our heart.

As we recall his journey, in tears our eyes do swell,
Gathered together the family while tears in our eyes did swell.
His legacy is written in the smiles and gentle sighs,
The humble life he led, a truth that never dies.

Lost Thoughts

In quiet moments, I wonder if you feel my heart, 
That love remains, yet ideals keep us apart. 

Thoughts unspoken linger, emotions hard to define, 
A box of shared dreams, but the truth’s still mine. 

Our hearts are tender, yet bound by what’s right, 
We navigate this silence, avoiding the fight. 

Through cherished memories, we find bittersweet ease, 
Two souls intertwined, but lost in the freeze.  

Heart it

 

His heart aches while the lungs gasp for air,
His tongue stays quiet, though my soul's in despair.
His confused mind with itself about words in debate,
Has wisdom escaped while upon is cast his fate
Is time a thief, or does it wait in love's light,
To share the words, to shine through darkest night?
These tangled thoughts, like chains, hold him in place,
The pain, it blossoms, yet fear masks my face.
He imagines whispers that edges him to despair,
If love had known the secrets hidden there.
Perhaps these jewels of his thoughts he tries to share,
Are just the pieces of a broken heart laid bare.
